Description

Development board for the Analog Device’s ADAU1462 DSP with socket for an Espressif ESP32S3 dual core MCU. Allows direct connection to A2B networks and UAC2 streaming via third party plug-in modules.

The ADAU1462 is a 147Mhz core DSP with up to 48 TDM channels. Dedicated connectors for Sigma Studio USBi, 4 PCM mic inputs,
6 ADC inputs and stereo S/PDIF inputs and outputs. TDM channels can be routed between the ESP32, A2B, UAC2 and custom expansion
board plug-ins. The DSP can be clocked by on-board oscillator or from external sources, including A2B and external UAC2. On-board eeprom
available for booting that can be directly programmed via Sigma Studio. Sigma Studio export files can also be loaded on MicroSD card for boot strap loading vis ESP32.

The ESP32S3 socket and supporting connectors allow direct connection to USB console, USB JTAG, UART, I2S and GPIO. MicroSD card can be used for storing DSP images and A2B network configurations.

Three expansion headers available for connecting custom daughter boards including mics and codecs.

Direct connection to TDM Pilot TDM to UAC2 converter.

Socket for A2B Mini module for access to A2B Networks, compatible with Sigma Studio export files.
